Children’s Ministry
The mission of the Aptos Christian Fellowship Children's Ministry is to help lay a foundation of Christ in the children's lives, and provide a comfortable, nurturing atmosphere in which a child can make a responsible decision for Christ.
It is our desire to provide a place where children can grow in the knowledge and understanding of the responsibility of that decision through Bible training activities and application to their lives. Our caring, dedicated teachers bring out the best in children as they guide and encourage. The priority of our teachers is to build up your kids with the love of God and lead them to a deeper knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We encourage children to bring their friends. All are welcome to be a part of our exciting Bible study, worship, games, and learning activities.
If you have any questions regarding ACF's Children's Ministries, please contact our Coordinators of Children's Ministries, Rusty and Peggy Ferguson at (831)688-3312. Please note that upcoming events will be posted on our calendar link.
Youth Ministry
Young people are faced with many spiritual and emotional challenges, and it can be difficult to navigate those challenges without a point of focus. Our Youth Ministry is designed to give our young people that point of focus and show them how to live out their lives with their hearts focused on Jesus Christ. ACF Youth Ministry is designed to reach the youth in our church and in our community with the Gospel of Christ. In doing this, we want to help youth not only understand scripture, but learn how to apply its lessons daily in their lives. Our focus is to minister to the youth and their families, and to lead youth in worship while providing them with opportunities for fellowship and service.
The Aptos Christian Fellowship youth group – ages 13-18 – is currently taking a break.
For more information about the ACF youth group, how to join, or to inquire about upcoming events, please contact 831-688-3312.
Sunday Morning
College and Career Group
Our newest small group is for those individuals in college or at the beginning of their career. While this group often joins with our middler group for monthly activities and Bible studies, it also meets on its own for fellowship and discussions pertinent to the specific needs of college kids.
For more information, please contact Linda Mulliner or the church office. We also invite you to view our calendar link for upcoming events.
Women’s Ministry
ACF Women's Ministries provides the women of ACF with opportunities to love and honor God through fellowship activities, Biblical teaching, and times of worship. It offers an encouraging time for women to grow together in their faith and spiritual growth, and to build relationships in order to involve them in service to our changing world.
This group is currently in need of a coordinator.
Men’s Ministry
ACF Men’s Ministries provides the men of ACF with opportunities to love and honor God through fellowship activities, Biblical teaching, and times of worship. The men meet once a month on a Sunday evening for a time of fellowship and bible study. Besides the regular once a month meetings, the men gather on the first Wednesday of each month for a breakfast at Tiny’s restaurant on 41st Avenue in Santa Cruz. Occasionally the men will attend a Bay Area sporting event such as a football or baseball game, get together for a fishing trip, or will sometimes just plan to have a BBQ dinner at the church.
For more information on upcoming activities and how to join in the fun, contact 831-688-3312
Middlers' Fellowship
The Middlers Group is geared toward those who are ages mid-twenties to mid-forties. However, we have yet to turn anyone of any age away. If you really are a middler, or simply a middler at heart, we welcome you to join us for games, bowling, miniature golf, or whatever other activities we may be planning.
This group is currently looking for a coordinator.
Boomers Fellowship
Our Baby Boomers group is focused on those born after 1946 and before 1960. These folk meet regularly for social events.
This group is currently in need of a coordinator.
Prime Timers' Fellowship
ACF Prime-Timer’s Ministries provides opportunities for individuals 50 years of age and above to gather in fellowship, primarily focused around a meal and a short entertainment oriented activity. Prime-timer gatherings offer an encouraging time for this age group to build and strengthen relationships and encourage one another.
